Still working on trailers for ETS2
Our work on refreshing the trailer fleet for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is still under way. Today we'd like to present you the current progress on another trailer.

Please keep in mind that whatever you see here on the blog is still subject to change. While we are trying to approach as many companies in transportation industry as we can to get them involved and to kindly allow their brands to be present in the game, we are not always 100% successful. We will keep trying, but it is inevitable that in the end, we may have to "invent" fantasy brands or even change some designs as we will not be able to use real life originals.





Wenn die beiden Bilder ein Schnappschuss aus ETS2 sein sollen, dann wird die ganze Sache immer mehr interessanter. Auf dem zweiten Bild ist die Ortstafel von "Nürnberg" zu sehen. Das lässt ja sämtliche Türen und Tore offen für alle möglichen Spekulationen. Ist in der ETS2-Map eventuell die DeutschlandMap aus GTS/ATS eingebaut?

Ich weiß, Spekulationen kann man viele anstellen, aber ob dies so eintrifft, weiß niemand.

Also: Abwarten, abwarten, abwarten und auf das Ende des Jahres hoffen.

In the end, a truck interior may take up to two solid months of a senior 3D artist's effort to build the model, animate the levers and dials, and texture the cabin.

Kann ich nur beipflichten.

Bin ja gespannt ob SCS dann auch Hände für die Innenansicht macht oder besser noch einen Fahrer oder Fahrerin die man dann auch Innen sieht je nach Kamera Position.

Na endlich gibt es mal Mautautobahnen. Das trägt meiner Meinung nach sehr zum Realismus bei.

Oh, Mautstellen. Das erinnert mich an meinen letzten Frankreichurlaub. Bin für die Strecke von Südfrankreich bis nach Luxemburg etwa 80 Euro losgeworden. Insgesamt habe ich schätzungsweise um die 250 Euro an Maut in Frankreich gelassen. Ob man in ETS2 auch Maut bezahlen muss?

Momentan sehen einige Dinge sehr viel versprechend aus, hoffe nur, dass man für ETS2 nicht einen High-End-PC braucht. ;)

Können, die ja als Update nach erscheinen von ETS2 machen, das wäre mir auch egal dann. :crazy:
